I think I've missed some!

Falling Behind

It seems like I should be able to do something as simple as keep up with the books I have read, but even that seems hard these days. So the ones I can remember are:

Life on the Refrigerator Door by Alice Kuipers

So Sexy So Soon by Diane Levin and Jean Kilbourne

Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser (this is third time I have read this one, but for some reason I never get tired of grossing myself out and swearing off fast food for at least a week!)

Books and stuff

Well, the basement is done and I would love to post that I have completely finished organizing and am totally ready for baby and guests - Ha! Most of Bryn's toys are downstairs in the wonderful, huge toy closet so at least that is progress.

I have been reading like crazy - I figure in another month I won't be reading much of anything, so I am trying to enjoy it while I can. Since last post, I have read:

Seven Up by Janet Evanovich

The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo

Last Night at the Lobster by Stuart O'Nan

And more books...

Added to my list of books I have read lately:

High Five by Janet Evanovich

Hoot by Carl Hiaasen

Hot Six by Janet Evanovich

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo

Yep...I 've bailed out. I am just treading water at this point and waiting for the basement to get done so I can truly organize the house. I have read some good books in the meantime, though!

Cannery Row by John Steinbeck

Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See

Four to Score by Janet Evanovich

Fried green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
